Aaron Johnston co-drove Takamoto Katsuta to second place in the recent East African Safari World Rally Championship event joins the array of rally stars at Déjà vu North West ’24 on the 26-27-28 April.

The Fermanagh man, who is a member of the Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team, has partnered the Japanese driver since 2021 and Africa has been their happy hunting ground as their second place finish in 2021 was repeated again this March.

Aaron, like Junior World Rally Champion William Creighton, Eamonn Kelly and compere Becs Williams will be coming to Sligo straight from Rally Croatia, the fourth round of the World Rally Championship.

Tom McGuinn and David Armstrong will debut their 1993 Subaru Impreza Group N Type RA at Déjà vu North West ’24. They bought the car which has competed in the Rally GB and plan to use it in sprints and Hillclimbs in the future.

 

Déjà vu North West ’24 is supported by FAAC Simply automatic, Sligo Pallets, Devaney Recovery Services and SF Engineering and it is jointly organised by RPM Déjà vu Motorsport Ltd. and the Connacht Motor Club.
