Déjà vu Tralee ‘22
27 / 28th May 2022
The Rose Hotel in Kerry’s county town will be the headquarters for this weekend of motoring nostalgia. Registration will take place on Friday afternoon in the beautifully refurbished hotel followed by a welcome reception and drivers’ briefing.
On Saturday morning the cavalcade of up to 150 cars will leave the start outside The Rose for a spectacular 130-mile route on the Dingle Peninsula.
The route book will guide you to a historical hill climb and give you the chance to drive on the spectacular sands of Inch Beach. You will pass through the popular tourist town of Dingle as you head west on the famous Slea Head Drive with views of the Blasket Islands and world heritage Skellig Michael. The Slea Head special stage has seen the downfall of many of Ireland’s greatest drivers including Cathal Curley and Billy Coleman.
On the return journey, you will traverse the daunting Conor and Camp Mountain Passes which have been used on the Circuit of Ireland in bygone days and are still used by the Tralee Motor Club. You will return to Tralee in time for a gala evening of videos, interviews, entertainment and three course dinner in The Rose Hotel.
